Match your key before you order

The part number and FCC ID must match your current key, and so must the number of buttons. If a frequency is printed on your key, check that too. Keys can look identical and share an FCC ID but still be different parts. Lost every key? Your dealer can give you the part number from your VIN.

Some dealers won’t program aftermarket keys

Tech note

How to renew the key

Press and hold the Unlock button (the LED flashes once).
Keep holding it and press and hold the Trunk button for 10 seconds. The LED stays on (renew mode). Release all buttons.
Press Unlock three times. The LED flashes; when it turns off, the renew is finished.

How to change the frequency

Press and hold the Lock button (the LED flashes once).
Keep holding it and press and hold the Trunk button for 10 seconds. The LED stays on (change-frequency mode). Release all buttons.
Press Unlock once. The LED flashes; when it turns off, the frequency has changed. (Default frequency: 315 MHz.)

Option 2: KYDZ app > Special Function > Benz > change the frequency by Bluetooth.
