1. General Terms of Service & Online Store Conditions
This website is owned and operated by Stallion Keys LLC ("Stallion Keys," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service, Limited Warranty & Refund Policy ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services, and the purchase of all automotive keys, remotes, transponders, mechanical components, tools, machines, and software (collectively, "Products").
By visiting our site, creating an account, or placing an order, you represent that you are at least the age of legal majority in your state, commonwealth, or province of residence, and you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or purchase Products.
All vehicle makes, model names, manufacturer trademarks, brand names, and logos (e.g., Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda) appearing on our site belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification, cross-referencing, and fitment compatibility. Their use does not imply manufacturer endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.
Pricing, errors and order acceptance. We work to keep product information, part numbers, fitment, pricing, and availability accurate, but errors can occur. We reserve the right to correct any error, to refuse or cancel any order — including after it has been placed — if a product was listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, and to limit quantities. If we cancel an order after payment, we refund the full amount paid. Prices and product information may change without notice.
Acceptable use. You may not use this website or our Products for any unlawful purpose; to submit false or misleading information; to interfere with the security or operation of the website; to collect other customers' personal information; or to scrape, copy, or resell our content without written permission. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation.
Third-party links and tools. Our site may link to third-party websites (for example, manufacturer verification pages). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or policies.
Privacy. Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.
2. Restricted Locksmith Tools & Verification
To prevent vehicle theft, unlawful entry, and unauthorized key programming, Stallion Keys restricts the sale of professional locksmith tools.
- Not sold to the public. We do not sell key programming devices, key cutting machines, opening tools, or other professional locksmith tools to the public. Lock picks and decoders, key programming devices, programming tools and adapters, key unlockers, smart key simulators, and key cutting machines ("Restricted Tools") are sold only to buyers who hold a locksmith license, or who own or work for a locksmith business, in their state. You must be at least 18 years old.
- Verification. Before we ship a Restricted Tool, we confirm your eligibility using, for example: a valid locksmith license (in states that license locksmiths); state or municipal registration of your locksmith business; or an approved Stallion Keys Locksmith Login trade account.
- Orders we cannot verify. If an order for a Restricted Tool cannot be verified within five (5) business days of our request, or if we believe it may be connected with unlawful use, we cancel it and refund the full amount paid.
- Lawful use. You agree that Restricted Tools will be used only by trained, authorized personnel on vehicles, locks, and keys you own or are authorized to service, and that possessing and using them is lawful where you live and work. You may not lend or resell a Restricted Tool to anyone you believe will misuse it. We may refuse future orders from anyone who breaks this section and cooperate with law enforcement investigating stolen vehicles or unauthorized access.
- Records. We keep order and verification records as required by law and to investigate misuse.
3. Order Cancellations
- Before shipment: You may cancel or change an order without charge at any time before it leaves our facility. Email info@stallionkeys.com with your order number as soon as possible (you may also call 215-495-2069 during business hours). A cancellation is confirmed when we reply.
- Shipped orders: Once the carrier has scanned the package, the order cannot be cancelled in transit. After delivery it can be returned under Section 4.
- Local pickup orders: Orders placed for pickup may be cancelled any time before they are collected from our Southampton, PA facility.
4. Standard Return Policy & Restocking Fees
Except for items listed as non-returnable in Section 8, you may return Products within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery (or pickup).
A. Return conditions. To be accepted, the Product must be:
- complete and resalable, with all accessories, transponder chips, key blades, instructions, and packaging;
- uninstalled, uncut, unprogrammed, unactivated, and not locked to a vehicle; and
- authorized in advance with a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number. To request one, email info@stallionkeys.com. Returns sent without an RMA number may be refused.
B. Restocking fee. A fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee applies to returns that are not our error (for example: ordered the wrong key, no longer needed, vehicle sold). Return shipping is paid by the buyer.
C. No restocking fee. The restocking fee and return shipping cost are waived if:
- the Product is confirmed defective under our testing standards in Section 7;
- we shipped a different item than the one on your order confirmation; or
- the Product arrived damaged in transit (see Section 9).
D. "New No Box" items. Keys sold as "New No Box" are new keys supplied without their original retail packaging. They follow this standard return policy, including the 15% restocking fee, once our testing confirms the returned key is not locked or programmed to a vehicle. A New No Box key that has been programmed, locked to a vehicle, or cut is not returnable unless it is confirmed defective under Section 7.
5. Brand-New OEM Packaging Rules
Brand-new OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) keys sold in sealed factory packaging cannot be resold as brand-new once the factory seal or bag has been opened.
Before opening any sealed OEM package, match the FCC ID, IC, OEM part number, and button layout against your current key or your vehicle's VIN record.
| Condition of the returned brand-new, factory-sealed OEM item | Remedy |
|---|---|
| Factory sealed: original packaging fully intact and unopened. | Standard return: refund to the original payment method, less the 15% restocking fee. |
| Opened, uncut and unprogrammed: packaging opened, but the key is uncut, unprogrammed, not locked to a vehicle, unmarked, and complete. | 50% refund to the original payment method, or 70% store credit, at your choice. |
| Cut or programmed: the blade has been cut, or the key has been programmed or locked to a vehicle. | Not returnable, unless confirmed defective under Section 7. |
| Defective: sealed or opened, and fails our testing under Section 7. | Replacement or full refund, including standard shipping. |
This schedule applies only to keys sold brand-new in sealed factory packaging. "New No Box" keys follow Section 4(D).
6. 30-Day Defect Warranty (Limited Express Warranty)
Stallion Keys provides a 30-Day Defect Warranty, a limited express warranty, on new, OEM, OEM refurbished, New No Box, and aftermarket keys, fobs, and remotes. OEM Locked items are excluded (Section 8).
- What is covered: if an eligible key fails to program, communicate, or lock/unlock your vehicle because of a manufacturing defect, we will replace it or refund the purchase price. Claims must be made within thirty (30) calendar days of delivery or pickup.
-
How to make a claim:
- Email info@stallionkeys.com within thirty (30) days of delivery with your order number (you may also call 215-495-2069 during business hours).
- Answer our short troubleshooting questions: vehicle year, make, model and VIN; the programming tool brand and firmware version; and any error codes shown.
- Return the key with the RMA label we provide.
- We test the key within five (5) to seven (7) business days of receiving it, under Section 7.
-
Not covered:
- locksmith, dealership, or mechanic labor, service calls, diagnostic fees, cutting fees, or towing;
- physical damage, drops, water damage, incorrect battery installation, battery leakage, or attempts to modify or desolder the circuit board;
- problems caused by the vehicle rather than the key (for example: blown fuses, the vehicle's maximum number of keys already programmed, aftermarket remote-start interference, or outdated vehicle software).
7. In-House Diagnostic & Defect Testing Standards
Keys returned as "defective" or "won't program" are tested on professional bench equipment, including RF frequency counters, transponder readers, and immobilizer test platforms.
A key is defective if it shows any of these failures:
- RF failure: no steady radio signal on its rated frequency (for example 315, 433, 868, or 902 MHz) with a working battery;
- Transponder failure: the transponder chip cannot be detected or read; or
- Logic failure: an internal memory or firmware fault that prevents programming on a clean bench.
A key is working (not defective) if it transmits a steady signal on its rated frequency, its transponder chip responds with the correct chip type and reads as unlocked, and its internal voltages are within factory tolerances.
If a returned key tests as working: an uncut, unprogrammed key that is not locked to a vehicle is handled as a standard return (Section 4, or Section 5 for opened factory-sealed OEM keys). A key that has been cut, programmed, or locked to a vehicle and tests as working cannot be refunded or exchanged; we return it to you at your cost or recycle it at your request.
8. Product Grades, Tools & Non-Returnable Items
A. Product grades
- OEM / OEM New: genuine keys made by the vehicle manufacturer, sold new. Covered by the 30-Day Defect Warranty. Opened factory-sealed packaging follows Section 5.
- New No Box: new keys supplied without original retail packaging. Covered by the 30-Day Defect Warranty. Returns follow Section 4(D).
- OEM Refurb: genuine OEM circuit boards in a restored or replacement shell, reset for programming. Covered by the 30-Day Defect Warranty.
- Aftermarket: new replacement keys made to OEM specifications. Covered by the 30-Day Defect Warranty.
- OEM Locked: genuine keys still locked to a previous vehicle, which require specialist unlocking equipment to reuse. OEM LOCKED ITEMS ARE SOLD "AS-IS" AND ARE FINAL SALE. NO REFUNDS, EXCHANGES, OR WARRANTY APPLY.
B. Tools, programmers and machines. Key programmers, programming tools, adapters, and key cutting machines may be returned within thirty (30) days only if unopened, unused, and never activated, subject to the 15% restocking fee. Equipment that has been registered to an account, connected to a vehicle, or updated with manufacturer software cannot be returned; defects after registration are handled under the manufacturer's warranty.
C. Non-returnable items. The following are final sale:
- software licenses, activation tokens, subscription renewals, PIN-code calculations, and other digital products once issued or activated;
- unlocking and virginizing services performed by our technical team;
- OEM Locked items; and
- keys that have been cut, programmed, or locked to a vehicle and test as working under Section 7.
9. Refund Processing, Chargebacks & Carrier Claims
- Refund timing: approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within five (5) to seven (7) business days after we inspect the returned item. Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 2 to 5 business days to post it.
- Financing (e.g., Affirm, Klarna): purchases paid through an installment lender are refunded through that lender under your agreement with them.
- Chargebacks: please contact us and complete the return or warranty process before disputing a charge with your card issuer — most issues are resolved faster that way. Filing a chargeback for goods that were delivered, or that tested as working under Section 7, is a breach of these Terms, and Stallion Keys reserves the right to recover the disputed amount, the $25.00 chargeback fee, and reasonable collection costs, to the extent permitted by law.
- Damaged packages: inspect your package on arrival. Report visible shipping damage within seven (7) days of delivery by emailing info@stallionkeys.com with photos of the product and the outside of the box.
- Marked delivered but not received: check around your delivery location and with others at the address, then email us within seven (7) days of the delivery date. We will help you open a trace and claim with the carrier.
10. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act Notice & Disclaimer of Other Warranties
- Your rights. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
- Remedy. Your sole and exclusive remedy under the 30-Day Defect Warranty is repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price, at our election.
- Implied warranties. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE FEDERAL AND STATE LAW (INCLUDING 15 U.S.C. § 2308), ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THIRTY (30) CALENDAR DAYS FROM THE DATE OF DELIVERY OR PICKUP. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
- General disclaimer. Except as expressly stated in Section 6, Stallion Keys provides all Products, services, and website access "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranty of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STALLION KEYS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, LOSS OF VEHICLE USE, TOWING, LOCKOUT DAMAGE, DEALERSHIP OR LOCKSMITH PROGRAMMING FEES, ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION, COMPUTER OR EEPROM CORRUPTION, OR LOSS OF DATA) ARISING OUT OF THE USE, INABILITY TO USE, RESALE, PROGRAMMING, OR MISPROGRAMMING OF ANY PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF STALLION KEYS LLC FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO ANY ITEM PURCHASED EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stallion Keys LLC and its members, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your unlawful or unauthorized possession or use of any Restricted Tool, key cutting machine, or programming device;
- negligent or improper programming, key cutting, immobilizer changes, or damage caused to your or any third party's vehicle;
- any misrepresentation about your status as a licensed locksmith or locksmith business, or as an authorized vehicle owner; or
- your infringement of any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
13. Binding Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT, TO A JURY TRIAL, AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
- Informal resolution first. Before starting arbitration, you agree to send a written notice describing the dispute, your supporting documents, and the specific relief you request to info@stallionkeys.com and by certified mail to Stallion Keys LLC, 1390 Industrial Blvd, Southampton, PA 18966. Both parties will negotiate in good faith for thirty (30) calendar days.
- Binding individual arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or any Product will be settled by final, binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (or Commercial Arbitration Rules if the purchaser is a business), available at www.adr.org.
- Federal Arbitration Act. The Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §§ 1–16) governs this agreement to arbitrate. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
- Location and costs. Unless the parties agree otherwise, hearings take place in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, or by video or telephone for claims under $10,000. Filing, administration, and arbitrator fees are paid as provided by the applicable AAA rules.
- CLASS ACTION WAIVER. YOU AND STALLION KEYS LLC AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
- JURY TRIAL WAIVER. IF A DISPUTE PROCEEDS IN COURT RATHER THAN ARBITRATION, YOU AND STALLION KEYS LLC WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
- Small claims. Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, if the claim is within that court's limits.
14. Governing Law, Venue & Severability
- Governing law: these Terms and all purchases from Stallion Keys LLC are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Venue: for any court proceeding permitted outside arbitration, the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
- Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be severed and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect.
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with your order confirmation and any RMA authorization, are the entire agreement between you and Stallion Keys LLC and replace all prior versions.
- Changes: we may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
